We purchased model 1094S, which has a colour screen so that you can easily keep an eye on your baby from another room, so would recommend it for that purpose. However, found that we did not use the sensor pad as our baby does not lie still enough!

Went for the monitor with sensor pad and the whole shabang but ended up being a marketing gimmick and the connection for the whole unit lost after a week if use. Expensive compared to other brands.

We have a Tommee Tippee video monitor it has a very clear screen and seems quite sensitive but you can't move the camera much making it hard to get a good view at times. We have also had problems with losing the link and a bit of a delay in the picture at times. Whether or not this is just our house or the product I am not sure. We got this when there was an offer on so feel it was good value though and most of the time it works fine.

We used this monitor for our first child. It was simple to set up and use. The downside which is why we changed brands is that we used to get lots of interference.
