Silver Cross Number 8 of 12 in Car Seats

We got the Silver Cross Simplicity car seat with our pram in a bundle, making it a good price. It was very useful in the early days as we didn't have to disturb our daughter if she had fallen asleep in the car especially if I was only nipping to the supermarket. Being able to take the seat from the car and clip it straight onto the pram was great, and easy. Securing the seat in with the seat belt could be fiddly at times; we didn't want to invest in the isofix base as we had already bought a Britain Dual Fix, and didn't plan on using this seat after 6 months. The seat itself is a little heavy, even more so with a baby in it. I would say I'm of average strength and my daughter was a fairly small baby (6.2), but I did start to struggle carrying her in the seat after a while. It's a nice seat, easy to adjust and my daughter always seemed comfortable.

Comfy, easy to get in and out of car and found it did my little one slightly longer the her other car seat I used that came wit pram as a gift.

We got our silver cross car seat free with our push chair and it's great the straps are comfy and easy to do up and out daughter is 13 months and still using it. She is always cosy and comfortable in the car seat and so doesn't get upset when going in the car. Definitely a good car seat and would recommend weather buying or receiving it free as a deal.

This car seat was easy enough to use, although very difficult to get in the car if you have a shorter seatbelt, had to tip the seat to clip belt then push car seat flat, so if I had to buy another I would probably try another brand

I had the new born silver cross car seat (as part of the silvercross bundle on mothercare). It was comfy for my baby, however when it's fastened in using the car seatbelt it can be tricky to get the baby in the seat, as you have to slide them under the strap that goes across the center. Lasted until she was about 4-6 months old. She seemed comfy in it, and was laid back enough that her head didn't fall onto her chest when she was in it.

Had an ISO fix base in car, made seat so easy to remove from car. Had adaptors to use as a travel system too. So handy.
