Not only are the baby products expensive, they're not always of very good quality unfortunately. I've found that some of the exact same products can be cheaper in different stores.

We ordered our pram from the website but tried it out in store first. Everyone we can across was helpful. We weren't overly impressed that the pram of the month we bought at a discount was discounted further exactly 31 days after we bought it (number of days to return is 30)

I find mothercare to be so overpriced for baby equipment. staff are lovely and helpful. Mothercare baby vests are the best ones that I have found so far
