We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

Good price and good fit but there are much better brands which have better safety ratings.

Current car seat, we have the maxi-cosi axiss. Very easy to use, we bought for the swivel ease of use. Would have preferrred if it was isofix rather that seat belt but for now it's safe enough. Again grows with baby until roughly 4 years

Excellent car seat, we used a pebble from newborn which provided so much comfort and Protection right from the start and now using a pearl from 10 months and is also comfy and I find it so easy to get the baby in and out compared to our other car seat we use for the grandparents

Pricey and very much so, especially when you take into account buying a base. Good quality tho.

Pearl, good for newborn as can use with the ISO-fix base, so pretty easy to get in and out of the car whilst baby is asleep. Another plus is that you can still just use the seatbelt to fix it in the car - so easy if you have to move between cars. It is also a travel system - so can attach to a compatible buggy base (usually using adapters) although I never used it like that because I preferred my baby to lie flat when possible. Bought with the intention of using it up to 12 months but found that by 10 months it was getting quite snug, so we moved to the next size up car seat then. I would say it was quite expensive when purchasing the seat and isofix base for only 10 months of use.

The first maxi-cosi baby seat for newborns is brilliant-it has a pillow insert for your litte one which you can take out as they grow. Appears comfortable, easy to get in and out of car and attach to pram/buggy. The next one up I don't find as user friendly but that may be as the seat is rear facing till 15 months for safety now and I find it hard getting my 13 month old in and out- this may be the case with many of the seats and it may get easier once it's forward facing. I do find it quite expensive but it is a top range so you hope to be paying for quality.

Good value for money. We bought the Pebble Plus for our son and have had no problems with it in the last 15 months since he was born

Very easy to use, easy to adjust straps. Great to use with ISO fix base. First size car seat comes with a head muff and wedge which is easily taken out as baby gets older.

We used the maxi cosi pebble for when she was a newborn. Other than the infant insert we had no problems. She would cry everytime she was in the insert bit, Once we took that insert out she was happy as Larry The pearl which is the next stage up is also really good value for money The only issue with this is that it doesn't swivel, if it did it would make this item faultless
