We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

Good price and good fit but there are much better brands which have better safety ratings.

A pretty standard from birth car seat, which can be adapted easily to fit many different travel systems. The baby seat is expensive on its own but fairly reasonable if bought as part of a complete travel system package.

We had a cabriofix as our first car seat. It worked with our travel system and I think with virtually any other product which was great. It was well made with good strong fabric that still look like new after a years use. It was lightweight so easy to move a sleeping baby from the car whilst still in the seat. I also has an Priorifix given to me as a second seat when the first stage was outgrown, but I found it far too hard, with not enough padding to be comfortable and comfort was a priority after safety, so we bought something else.

I felt as though the car seat was a small bit pricey for what it was.. the fabric and patterns are nice but i feel i went with this because its a well known brand and i was told only to get a maxi cosi

Brilliant seats, well made from quality materials, sturdy, not flimsy like other brands, slightly heavy (especially when you have twins to carry in them), but would never go for any other brand.

We had two maxi cosi car seats for our twins and they were a God send. Great for when they were asleep to move them without waking them! They have a sun shade which also protects them from glass falling on them in the case of an accident which gave us peace of mind. Easy to wash cover. Excellent first stage car seat!
