Really good and was a lifeline when started feeding, don't need it now LO is a couple of months old. Only downside is a little greasy so had to wear breast pads with it to stop it coming through

Great - expensive but a tube lasts a long time (though you may not think so in the early days!) and doubles up as a baby moisturiser for any dry skin

The nipple ointment by Lansinoh saved my life, at first I did find this really expensive but it really is well worth it. It healed my cracked, sore nipples like magic and it is pure so there is no need to remove it before breastfeeding your baby. As a new mum I went through my first tube pretty quickly while still trying to establish breastfeeding, thereafter I brought 2-3 tubes worried sick that I will run out. However I still have two tubes leftover now and a little bit goes a long way. If the room temperature is cold the ointment solidifies so best to place on or near a heater for a couple of minutes to soften it, which makes it much easier to apply.

This was a very good cream for hurting nipples and it went on very smoothly so you don't really need all that much. The only down side is that after a few months of not using the rest of the cream in the tube, it has gotten a lot thicker and hard to even squeeze out of the container. Not sure if I'd be able to keep the rest of it to use later as it might become completely hard and unusable.
