Think this is seen as a slightly better product but when you check the nutrients etc there is very little difference so not really worth the extra money. However I had no problems with it.

Aptamil was our formula of choice as a back up incase breastfeeding wasn't an option for our daughter. I had friends who had used aptamil for their children and had no problems so I went with it. It turns out that she used formula from the day after her birth day until 1 year old. No problems, good value & easy to prepare. Also We noticed a difference in the consistency, colour & smell between the powder vs pre made formula but baby couldn't tell the difference.

Ready made bottles are so easy to use. My baby liked both powder and bottles and seemed happy on them with no tummy troubles.

My dr suggested we try aptamil for our little girl who suffered with silent reflux and choking episodes. It seems a lot more favourable with health professionals. It is a while ago now as she is now a year old so it's difficult to remember why they felt it was better.

It is good value for money, however it leaves a bad smell after using the bottle. Even if you rinse the bottle, after an hour or two shopping in town you go back home and fond out there's no point rinsing the bottle, it's a persistent smell. I have used both 1 and 2 and had the same issue with both. Other than that it is a good product. My son rarely suffered from colic when on Aptamil 1 and I assume it is fulfilling as he went to sleep straight after having his bottle.

I used Aptamil when I stopped breast feeding. I chose this brand as it was used by the hospital I went to. My baby had no problems with this milk. I would definitely use again
