Think this is seen as a slightly better product but when you check the nutrients etc there is very little difference so not really worth the extra money. However I had no problems with it.

Aptamil was our formula of choice as a back up incase breastfeeding wasn't an option for our daughter. I had friends who had used aptamil for their children and had no problems so I went with it. It turns out that she used formula from the day after her birth day until 1 year old. No problems, good value & easy to prepare. Also We noticed a difference in the consistency, colour & smell between the powder vs pre made formula but baby couldn't tell the difference.

Have used stage 1, hungry milk, stage 2, stage 3 and also used yellow striped version (can't remember it's name) for my baby when she was having issues with constipation in the first few weeks after birth and it worked a treat. Have used powders and ready mades and all are simple to use, have kept my baby full and satisfied, no reactions and she is developing at an above average rate which I believe is helped by the nutritious support of Aptamil formulas

Used this in the hospital and carrued on. Daughter has sensitive skin and allegies this milk is excellent .

I have used Aptamil formula milk for over 10 years for all 5 of my children. I chose it because it was the closest to breastmilk I could find. I found no problems with colic or wind and found this milk easy to pre make feeds for the fridge. I have used 1,2 and 3 stages of this milk for my own children. And also the anti-reflux version for my nephew. Although I found the anti reflux powder to clump together in the bottom of the bottle no matter what temperature it was made. I would recommend Aptimil as a first or even growing milk after 6 months. It's a great milk to combine with breastfeeding or after.

We had no problem with aptamil powder formula. Our little one loved it. We did find when having the pre-made formula he would be a little dribble sick. I'm unsure if this is to do with the ingredients in it to keep it from going off to quick, but it was only on the occasions we would use those he would bring up a bit of sick. We only ever used the first stage formula and now he happily has cows milk.

The ready made formula is ridiculously expensive. Not all women who formula feed do so by choice, and it is prohibitively expensive.
