Vaseline is a must have for new mum. We have used it several times on our little boy and it always does the trick. Plus it doubles up as a lip balm for mum if needed!

A traditional firm favourite of ours! My mum used Vaseline on me & I use it on my son. It forms a great protective barrier so that when I take off little ones nappy, his bottom is protected & not at all clammy. Easy to apply & great that it comes in different sizes for the nursery, out & about etc.

Started using this after my son's circumcision and I was surprised at how excellent it is and super cheap too. Though greasy, just a small amount is all that's needed

We enjoy using vaseline and it can help but find that it helped more to loosen my baby up and helps him to go to the toilet and pass his stools easier

A good all rounder and one of the best priced. I use this more foe the face (cheeks and chin) to protect against wind burn with dribbly babies than the nappy area, but it works on the bum in a pinch. I would not use this if the baby had a rash, but works for prevention.

I use when my son was very ill I had to give him really strong pain killers through a suppository it was awful but this helped
