Have the baby carrier. Fantastic and easy to install in the car. Quite lightweight compared to other baby carries I have come across. Baby always felt safe and secure in it.

I had the first stage silver cross car seat, it can be a little tricky to get in your car if the seat-belts are a bit on the short side, but it fit my baby in comfortably until she was around 8 months old. It also sat in a position that meant she was quite laid back, so her head wasn't dropping down on to her chest as with the more sat up car seats.

We bought the Silver Cross Simplicity Group 0 car seat, as we had bought the Silver Cross Wayfarer Pram, so we could use it as a travel system. The seat can be fitted to the car either by the seatbelt or by an isofix base - which we used, and found very easy to use. The only negative point was that you needed adaptors to fit the seat to the pram chassis - which came with the pram - but it was also very easy to forget the adaptors when going out, so we would be unable to use the seat with the chassis. Our daughter did look very comfortable in the seat, and it was very easy to use - both with the isofix base and the seatbelt.

We used the silver cross simplicity car seat with our large son until he was one, it was easy to use. Quick to belt into the car, easy to fit correctly with simple clear instructions I would definitely recommend it to other parents
