Had to return my cot as it stank of paint. Nearly two weeks after removing it from the packaging and the smell was still super strong. No way I was going to put my daughter in it to breath that stink in.

Good value, easy to assemble, fab quality. Has matching items and dual-purpose for example we got the cot bed and will see our little one up to age 5.

I’ve been forced to leave a star when I do not want to as I have a toy box from obaby that the paint has come off. It’s a glossy wet paint and it’s all over my sons toys and cloths. I have had the box for 2 years so I don’t get why that has happened. Its everywhere and it’s sticky , it’s a hazard and very dangerous to children. I was told it was certain chemicals that’s done it so why don’t obaby advertise that some toys and bits cannot go in to a toy box coz they are made out of certain chemicals. It has ruined my children’s things and end up on everything. I have wardrobes, draws ,cots, the lot and now I’m worried it will come off all that too. I think they need to recall all obaby products in case this paint comes off and use a beater paint then probably the cheap one they use. It’s under warranty and since they didn’t have the part to replace they sent me out a new one and coz they have done that they do not think they should replace my sons toys and bits. It’s taken about 30 calls to a number that no one answers and 30 emails that no one gets back due to covid but like I told them we are all suffering and effected by covid. But when I told them I will be getting trading standards involved which I will do now they got back to me. I’m Not happy at all. Very scared and worried it will come off my sons cot while he sleeps. If this is the first time you are buying furniture for you new born and want no stress , read the reviews and avoid at all cost coz your children will be at risk and it’s a hassle getting in contact with obaby. I had a problem 2 years ago when buying. The boxes things were delivered in was damaged and I had to get things replace as it damaged the goods inside then they didn’t believe me and I had to buy a Moses basket as they never sent me the cot in time. The worst experience I have ever had with our new born...... PLEASE AVOID. ,,,,,,, THANK YOU
