We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

I got the axis swivel and it's such a great investment. It's future proof for when the law comes in for rear facing / forward facing, plus it's easy to use. Being pregnant again, it's a God send that the seat faces you as you put baby in - one extra help for my back.

This is clever marketing. Used it and wasn't impressed. yes it is good sometimes that baby when baby is asleep you don't wake him/her up. BUT the position they are in ?! surely not good for their back! didn't use it more than 4 month.

We had the cabrio from birth till our daughter was over 1 as it was quite spacious. We used it with the family fix base which also is used for the pearl which we moved onto. Just wish the pearl could be used with a seatbelt too and was a little more padded.
