We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

Bought a Maxi-Coxi Pebble Plus Group 0+ really pleased with quality and stability, also one of the top rated for safety, somewhat reassuring to know. So simple to use and easy to adjust straps, another beneficial feature is that it can be used on a number of pushchairs with the adaptors (I used with Mamas and Papas pushchair), which with a newborn is very convenient when you don't want to wake the little one! The car seat also comes with an SPF shade and rain-cover, again most convenient when hopping in and out of the car. Overall really impressed.

Good quality car seats but they are expensive in comparison to other brands. Lots of companies are using the cost in making the customers feel like they are getting a safer product.

We have the 2 way fix base, first with the pebble and now with the pearl. To be honest, I wish we had never invested in maxi-cosi as i don't see thar it is any better than joie. All I size car seats are tested to the same safety standards so can't be any better than one another. Maxi-cosi is so so expensive and really not worth it in my opinion. We have bought an additional joie car seat and base for my husband's car, for a fraction of the price, and it is just as good.
