We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

We inherited a group 0+ baby seat from friends with isofix base- has been used by both our children and is easy to carry/ take in or out of car and also fits on our buggy. Covers wash well although a little fiddly to remove until you get used to how they fit.
