I have a Graco travel system car seat which I found invaluable when my baby was young so if she fell asleep I could remove it form the car and attach to the base unit. She is now 13 months and I am still using this seat and only just on the cusp of buying another rear facing seat which will lat her age 4. I would highly recommend a travel system for the early days.

I have the snug safe and I do like it, the only thing I think it needs is a insert in the bottoms to prop up babies bottom when they are really young otherwise the are virtually sitting up right from the get go .
