We used the chicco next to me and it was perfect for those early months. Very secure and safe and we absolutely loved the fact it was a safe version of co sleeping. Definitely recommend to any parents.

Brought a side bed cot, this was very good for newborns. We used ours up to when our baby was 6mths old and we could keep an eye on our baby without getting out of bed each time and when he got sick we were able to open the side up so we could watch him while we lied in bed

I had a next to me crib and whilst good quality and sturdy not very easy to move around the house but brilliant to shut up and travel with, so can double up as a travel cot. But I couldn't get my little boy to settle in it for more than 10 minutes so a complete waste of money for myself.
