We used the chicco next to me and it was perfect for those early months. Very secure and safe and we absolutely loved the fact it was a safe version of co sleeping. Definitely recommend to any parents.

The Next To Me cot is fantastic as you can keep your baby close to through those special first months, I am still using mine at 5 months although my son is starting to get to the limits of the length of the crib. It is wonderful being able to watch him sleep and see his beaming smiles when he first wakes up. It is also very convenient for night feeding, just being able to lean over and pick him up is great. Very secure fastening to bed, no worries about it slipping. I am really glad I used the Chicco Next to Me v

I have the chicco cosleeper which is perfect for the first 6months with baby in your room, right beside you but not in your bed.

Very good co sleeping cot. The different heights are useful too so higher beds. Mattress is a bit too hard but we use a sleepyhead anyway. Good size.

Bought this cot for co-sleeping as side zips down. Turns out this is not safe as there has been SIDS incidences. Just using as a crib now with sides up all the time. Baby loves cot and mesh allows good visibility of baby in the night when night light is on. Can also be angled if baby is poorly to ease breathing. All this said, found it on the expensive side for what you get.

Bought because it was quite unique and there isn't much choice in this type of cot (next to me). Very expensive and mattress is too hard but allows safe Co sleeping. Would be good if design allowed a longer lifespan of product. It could be more sturdy.

The only thing missing in the chicco next2me is the fact that it doesn't rock. If your bedroom is small, it's not easy to fit it next to your bed.
