We used the chicco next to me and it was perfect for those early months. Very secure and safe and we absolutely loved the fact it was a safe version of co sleeping. Definitely recommend to any parents.

Convenient for baby younger than 4 months. Once they move their arms a lot the bedside cot tends to be small.

I have used the next2me crib and found it excellent for my baby once she was around 3 months old. As a tiny baby it felt very large for her. The mattress is very hard so I found I needed to put a few blankets underneath her to pad it out a bit. Having her next to me in the bed was excellent for co-sleeping safely - this is especially helpful when breastfeeding as you can stay in bed for the feeds and you're both disturbed as little as possible. It does make it more difficult to get in and out of bed yourself so I'm not sure how it would work for those mothers who have had a c-section although if you're using it once your baby has grown out of a moses basket it should be fine. Ours came with a bag which could be useful to take the cot with you if travelling as it does collapse down quite nicely. Overall I would recommend the crib...despite the price being quite high, having baby close and the additional sleep you get from the ease of feeding is worth it!

We bought the chicco next to me crib. It fit next to the first bed we had when our LO was born but then we moved house and bought a new bed and it was too low next to it despite saying it fits against most beds, even divans. I know 3 other mummies who said it's also too low for their beds also. It's good for a travel cot but I think most people buy these for use at home during the first few months and its okay for this for the price but don't expect fantastic quality. The mattress is very hard and some of my friends have bought new mattresses and others have put a blanket between the sheet and mattress because all the babies refused to sleep on it because it's too hard. A firm mattress is recommended but pointless if they won't sleep on it.

chicco next to me crib.... lovely crib and just what i needed.... but quit clumpy and legs rattly, sheets and bedding very expensive as matress is not an average size.... so shop at amazon for sheets

I use Chicco next2me cot and my little one loves it. It is easy to set up and I can take it with me if we stay over in a hotel or in my family's house.

Chico next to me crib when first put up I thought it looked rather flimsy and was a little worried but it turned out to be very sturdy. Its really handy if Baby has reflux, colic or a cold as it can be put in a slant. I'd highly recommend this product!

We didn't have the cot but the next to me bed, it was a great idea it was a very hard matress though!
