We used the chicco next to me and it was perfect for those early months. Very secure and safe and we absolutely loved the fact it was a safe version of co sleeping. Definitely recommend to any parents.

We've been using the Next2Me since my son was born prematurely. The ability to connect it to the bed allowed me to reassure him and breastfeed more easily. Due to it having a carry bag we have taken it on several trips away so we've saved on buying an additional travel cot for a young baby. My son is now 9 month the and we are about to transition him to his main cot bed so it lasts a long while. I do have several criticisms though: the mattress is much harder than others I've used/seen and I think this contributed to my son having good a flat he's on one side (which has been resolved using a specialist pillow) and that the frame is a bit wobbly. I won have expected it to be a little more sturdy. Overall though, a very good product.

Next2me. It allows you to sleep next to your baby so that you don't have to get up in the night to check on her.

Excellent to use from new born but found the mattress included is not comfortable for baby so an extra mattress is required and therefore pushes up the cost. My baby is quickly outgrowing the cot and I have found that once she was able to sit up I was not able to leave baby alone as she found it easy to pull herself up using the railings. This is not a problem I have with the cheaper ikea cot as once she was able to sit up I was able to lower the base allowing me to feel comfortable popping out of the room if she is still awake

Next2me crib, average value for money, matress that comes with the product not great quite hard. The drop down feature could be re-looked at as once its attached to the bed you cant easily put the side back up with baby in crib and not very safe to leave baby in unattended with it attached to bed.

The Next2Me crib is fantastic for keeping baby close during the early months. You can feed and keep an eye on your baby safe in the knowledge that they are in their own space. And when you are ready to move them into their own room, you can zip up the side and move it away from the bed si they get used to not being right next to you.

Nice room for baby to move about. Feels nice and strudy. Buying on sale price. Could do with a bit of colour.
