I used this only for my sons vaccinations. At first it was quite difficult to get the required dose into his mouth, because the syringe was a bit stiff and a big plop came out which he just spit out, so that takes a bit of practise. It is cheapest to buy in Aldi.

I first used calpol when my little one had his Immunisations and vaccines, we used calpol each time. Calpol helped loads, my little one didn't really seem troubled by them at all after an hour or so, we gave him calpol straight after he had them, then followed the box /doctors instructions. We then used calpol again when he got ill, this helped to bring his temperature down and settle him which was great. We are now using calpol again because he's teething. His teeth and gums are sore for him and you can tell he's uncomfortable and he gets all hot and bothered by it so we give him a little bit of calpol in morning and then bonjela throughout the day when needed. He also has teething ring that go in freezer to help cool his gums. We sometimes also use calpol at night if his gums are really sore and painful. We find that calpol really works well for us and our little boy who is nearly 7 months. We don't use any other baby/children medicines for our little one we only use the original strawberry calpol we don't and won't use the one contains ibrofen or any other brand. We'd definitely recommend it, we have at least three bottles in our household for those little emergencies. It's the only children's/baby medicine I'll give my little one. I find calpol reasonably priced, easy to use, instructions are easy to read and follow on follow on the box and it definitely works for our little one.
