Angelcare - The leader in Movement Monitoring and baby care for over 21 years
Angelcare® was started in 1997 by a first-time father who understood how stressful it can be to care for a newborn baby. As new parents, Maurice Pinsonnault and his wife felt overwhelmed with worry not knowing whether their baby was sleeping safe and sound. It was a question that occupied their minds whenever they weren’t in the room. Dissatisfied with the current selection of baby monitors available to them, they wanted a monitor that could go on better : one that could detect movement, especially the subtle movements babies make when asleep. Our first baby movement monitor used clever technology that could distinguish baby’s slightest movements.
And so, Angelcare® was born.
Today, Angelcare® products employ advanced technology and innovative, research-based design. They are sold in 60 countries, and include award-winning monitors, nappy disposal systems and bath products.

I bought the angelcare baby monitor and sensor pad. Instructions were easy to follow and it gave great peace of mind. Only flaw was the sensor pad had to be quite a distance away from the base monitor but the wire wasn't long enough to reach to another plug socket . It just wasn't doable in our room. However it still worked great.

This has given me peace of mind for my two children. The sensor pad is great but also having the versatility to use the monitor without it as they get older makes it good value.

Although the product looks good it does pick up a lot of interference which can sound similar to the alarm.

Battery life isn't great, I constantly have to have mine plugged in. Sensor pad isn't accurate, goes off whenever it feels like it leading you to panic everytime it goes off (or doesn't go off). I have taken my son out of the cot on numerous occasions and the sensor hasn't gone off. Not great value for money, very expensive for what it actually does. Friends have rated other makes a lot better that are much cheaper.
