As new parents, Maurice Pinsonnault and his wife felt overwhelmed with worry not knowing whether their baby was sleeping safe and sound. I bought the angelcare baby monitor and sensor pad. Instructions were easy to follow and it gave great peace of mind. Only flaw was the sensor pad had to be quite a distance away from the base monitor but the wire wasn't long enough to reach to another plug socket . It just wasn't doable in our room. However it still worked great.

This has given me peace of mind for my two children. The sensor pad is great but also having the versatility to use the monitor without it as they get older makes it good value.

Very sensitive to detect baby's breathing,was some comfort especially with a premature baby. When using the monitor away from the unit we found that sometimes it doesn't always sound,think you have to swap the frequencys over.

Good piece of mind with breathing monitor, however very sensitive to movemenf in cot and will alarm when child has moved fromone area of mattress

AC1100 monitor is expensive but the screen is very good even during the night. The 2 way control is handy to speak to the baby. It is easy to use and easy to set up. The alarm to tell you when its too hot or cold is handy. The movement pad is good for when they are very small but wont fit properly in a moses basket which is a shame. The main downfall i have found is its difficult to attach to the cot/ wall and get the position correctly angled to view the baby. There are no hooks or hanging attachments which could attach to the cot so it took me alot of trial and error having to put a shelf up and angel the monitor to get a decent view as the camera angle only moves slightly up and down.

A fantastic piece of mind we are still using even though my daughter is 16 months. The only thing I would say is that the breathing monitor doesn't reach to each end of the cot we have and so we have had to adjust it slightly to suit the end our toddler sleeps on, to avoid it going off needlessly.

very easy to use but the sensor pad does occasionally go off for no reason. I often forget to turn the sensor off if baby cries in the night and I remove her from the cot which results in the alarm going off just as I get her back to sleep.

Excellent product, has lasted for 2 children and the monitors been dropped numerous times but has survived! Definitely recommend

Quite easy talbeit a bit fiddly initially setting the system up. Once it was set, you need to play around with the level settings to find the best for you. It was a shame we didnt go for a video unit but that would be more for me to just spend hours watching my little one. The product has been a godsend - continually providing the reassurance and comfort you need from the first months until even now as a toddler. Love the flexibilty of walking round with the unit, battery life could be a bit longer although will just go through a night if not on its charger. In general, a good product, no technical issues and easy to use. Would recommend it.

Highly recommend the sleep monitor, gave me such peace of mind especially as my daughter was only happy sleeping on her tummy.

Very good, the only thing I don't like about the Angel care monitor and mat i's that of your baby slightly moves off the mat the alarm goes off, it's a shock and it took me a long time to get back to sleep at night.

Very accurate and reliable movement monitor. Easy to take on holiday or when travelling. Excellent for piece of mind.
