Angelcare - The leader in Movement Monitoring and baby care for over 21 years
Angelcare® was started in 1997 by a first-time father who understood how stressful it can be to care for a newborn baby. As new parents, Maurice Pinsonnault and his wife felt overwhelmed with worry not knowing whether their baby was sleeping safe and sound. It was a question that occupied their minds whenever they weren’t in the room. Dissatisfied with the current selection of baby monitors available to them, they wanted a monitor that could go on better : one that could detect movement, especially the subtle movements babies make when asleep. Our first baby movement monitor used clever technology that could distinguish baby’s slightest movements.
And so, Angelcare® was born.
Today, Angelcare® products employ advanced technology and innovative, research-based design. They are sold in 60 countries, and include award-winning monitors, nappy disposal systems and bath products.

I bought the angelcare baby monitor and sensor pad. Instructions were easy to follow and it gave great peace of mind. Only flaw was the sensor pad had to be quite a distance away from the base monitor but the wire wasn't long enough to reach to another plug socket . It just wasn't doable in our room. However it still worked great.

This has given me peace of mind for my two children. The sensor pad is great but also having the versatility to use the monitor without it as they get older makes it good value.

Ours was gifted to us so unsure how much it was but it does the job, not too complicated

The pad worked but the actual Monitor was fuzzy and didn't seem to pick up noise and activate straight away

Got it as a baby shower present. It was handy in the early months but when we tried to use it when moved baby into own room, the feed abck was terrible on the monitor in ouw room even though couldn't find anything causing it and it was on the same frequency it had always been on. it would pick up baby moving which would then wake me up, but actually awake and crying, wouldn't pick up. It is now boxed up (with the breathing mat we never used) but not sure would bother using it for a second child

Ours was too sensitive and kept setting of the alarm, so we returned for refund.

If sensitivity is turned up this monitor is very effective and worth buying.

OK but does not pick up all the sounds and in the summer when you want a fan in the room this sets off the sensor so it would not pick up if baby stop breathing. Overall is good and the battery life is good

It was good, I got it secondhand and it broke after a while, the bit for under the mattress made me more worried than without it! It would go off when the baby was fine!

I have the lastest angelcare monitor cost around £190.00 it has video. Senior pad and sound. touch screen on the monitor isnt great very slow. other bad points battery runs out very quick I have to keep it on charge all the time. when your baby is low down in the cot the pad goes off because it can not deteched your baby which is worrying but the alarm will be rised which is good. good point is if the monitor is turned off at the cot. It will alarm the hand held monitor.
