Inexpensive, have used the plug in ones no iron em but it has picked up interference, the cordless one has been hit and miss but mostly OK.

I bought this monitor as it was also a night light, thermometer, played music, had flashing alert as well as volume control and I could talk through it from the parent receiver. It has lasted 2 years and the only trouble I have is the battery on the parent receiver doesn't last as long as it used to.

The sound quality is very good, the range is great and the night light function works well. The only downsides are the battery life of the receiver is lacking, the frequency causes a seriously loud feedback when one is inside and one is outside the same room.

Really enjoyed using this brand, had it for nearly 13 year. Just recently broke. But was so pleased having this used it for all 4 of my children.

I have 3 children and my 1st being born 2008 and brought a tomy monitor and have it still have till this day, and my my 3rd child we got a gift of a tomy monitor the newwer version that has the temp and music. So highly recommended.
