I used manual couple of times, it was ok to use but as I had no milk supply I switched to medela electrics to boost milk supply

I had the manual hand pump which I found very awkward and tiring to use. When I had a good rhythm it would work really well.

I have the manual and electric pumps, both are great, easy to use and clean and when I damaged mine I called tommee tippee and they sent me a free replacement part, excellent customer service. There are also lots of compatible products widely available at reasonable prices.

I struggled with this pump. And it actually split my nipple. Twice. Haven't attempted it again. It was my third child as well. The previous 2 I had used Avent, so was not a first time user on this type of product.
