i treid using a breast pump, and i had ttommee tiippee bottles so went with the same brand for the pump, i used it to try and bring on labour, but using a pump just wasn't for, i didn't like the feel of it, and would never use one again.

Electric pump was a great choice for me as it saved me a lot of time and hassle as very busy mum and it was easy to use and clean.

It had three settings which was handy and it had its own box that you could store and steralise the equipment in one go. However, I did find it noisy with it being an electric pump so nothing discrete about it!

I found this to be great for me as I had a lot of milk, I could get 5 oz in less than 5 minutes and I only had a hand pump!

Hand pump, couldn't get on with it personally, too much hard work on my hand, although the sterilising box was very useful!

I was given the Tomme Tippee manual breast pump as a present, and thought it to be really handy when wanting to express when my baby was a newborn. It also came with a steralizer box and 6 bottles, and storage cups for the milk which was excellent. However after a few months and my milk was fully established the manual breast pump became very labourous work in order to fully empty the breast, my hand kept cramping due to the amount of work it took to use it. It's a great starter though, and the size was very handy to put in your bag if you wanted to express while you were out and about.
