Used in combination feeding, our baby had trouble with gas and we saw no improvement over breastfed using these bottled as we did with the Philips Avent. The bottle seemed easy for the baby to hold other than that and came in 2 different sizes, perfect for smaller feeds at younger ages or feeding on demand.

I used tommee tippee bottles a few times when my son was a newborn because my friend gave me them to borrow. We didn't really get on very well with the teets for some reason as my son found them more difficult to suck on and get enough milk out of quickly so we did not end up using them for long. I think it depends on the baby as to whether they take to these bottles or not. The bottles work well with the microwaveable bowl for them but they were still steamy afterwards.
