I found sma to be in line with other leading brands. However, what I did like about this brand is that they are the only one to use a metal tin for their powder instead of a paper carton like the others. I felt this was a much fresher way to store the powder however it is reflected in the slightly higher price.

I think SMA is the best formula brand that I have used for both of my babies. It is great value for money and the customer service care team are fantastic just in case you have questions regarding the formula

Used in hospital when baby was still there as a newborn. She loved it but once out, sister advised Aptamil as that

Excellent in all respects.The design of the packaging hygienically stows the scoop separate to the product, in a handy way. The packaging is metal, apart from the lid and seal, but those are removable for recycling separately. My one year old baby was combination fed with breastmilk and SMA and has not been unwell once.

Our son was born at 34 weeks and spent a month on NICU. He was fed on SMA premature formula there and was discharged on that as a prescription. He thrived on this until he was 6 months and then as he was gaining weight with no concerns we went on to standard SMA formula. He has continued to thrive and is now a year old and successfully weaned.
