I found sma to be in line with other leading brands. However, what I did like about this brand is that they are the only one to use a metal tin for their powder instead of a paper carton like the others. I felt this was a much fresher way to store the powder however it is reflected in the slightly higher price.

The standard milk is just the same as any of the other brands of formula you can buy in the supermarket, no matter what claims they make! We mostly used the extra hungry and then stage 2 milk. The extra hungry was great for my daughter's reflux as it was much thicker than standard milk (even with thickeners in). We changed to stage 2 milk as it was cheaper, sometimes on special offer and coupons were available for it as well.

I would recommend this formula to any new mum, my baby had it from birth and was always completely satisfied with it. The only criticism I could say would be that I do think

We've had no problems with SMA started at 6 months after breastmilk, baby took to it straight away, so never needed to try any other brand
