Inexpensive. Fantastic up/ down mechanism- easy and reliable. As with all travel cots I've seen, the 'mattress' is hard and thin, but both of my children have slept well on it!

The red kite travel cot we have is quite heavy. Though my friend had borrowed it and taken it on a train journey. It's a nice size when up for baby. My little one is now 16 months and there is plenty of space for her. The base is not particularly comfortable so we put a more comfortable covering over the base then secure it with a sheet so it is soft for little one to sleep on. There is a knack to closing it - the husband wrestled with it for half an hour before admitting defeat and asking for help. He still can't close it but luckily I can. The folding joints feel flimsy but this is actually a sturdy travel cot that has survived several train and car journeys. The bag it comes in has come apart at the seams a little and has a small hole in it now but the cot itself is still in good condition. For the price, this is a good travel cot.

Handed down from my sister. Excellent value originally and still in great shape despite being used with 2 babies. Bit fiddly to fold up, but OK when you get the hang of it. Folds up nicely into a carry bag which isn't too bulky. Would definitely recommend.

I had a baby walker but wasn't easy to adjust up and down was very stiff

A very good travel cot, great value for money and folds up so you can easily fit it in the boot of your car. It's a good size when constructed but we bought a new mattress for it so our baby could sleep more comfortably. With the new mattress he sleeps as well in the travel cot as he does in his own.
