Our video monitor is great but sometimes it shows as disconnected even though the network is fine. It can be quite frustrating. It is great that it tells you temperature and can send you an alert for movement, sound or temperature change.

I found that the philips avent digital video monitor was a half way between very good and average. On the plus side there is the high quality monitor with the good night vision that switches automatically, the lullabies are very helpful and also the energy saving mode which I liked very much. On the down side the battery wouldn't last for too long, just a few hours when it supposed to last several more and there wasn't a temperature display which I relied on many times. Depending on everyone's necessity, I wouldn't say it is bad.

Picks up sounds well enough but with about a 1 second delay. Only emits when there is a sound to detect so only "comes on" when there is something to hear
