"Had two of these soothers in a set with some bottles used for a few months but changed to another brand as they were hard to find on their own."
NUK offers both silicone and latex soothers; silicone is stronger and more durable but latex is popular with many parents because it is softer and more flexible which can make it easier for some babies to adapt to. The choice of silicone or latex is a personal choice but there is a NUK Soother to cater for both needs.
We were recommended to use Nuk brand teats on the expressed milk bottles in the hospital, so when I decided to get him a soother it seemed to make sense to give the same kind. It worked great and he used it until he was about 6 months old.

We use the orthopaedic silicone teat soother we were bought them and our son took to them straight away. The teat is very soft and sits in the roof of the mouth not behind the teeth

These soothers were very good as my baby used the NUK bottles too. I found they were the closest match to breastfeeding.
