We use Nelsons teetha gel, but we do have granules us well. Just for a change.

Eldest always took the granules like they were packets of sherbet and loved it - Youngest wasn't so keen. It can be tricky administering granules if baby isn't happy about the idea - a couple of times he breathed in as I was trying to get them in him and choked quite a lot. Once they were in his mouth and rubbed onto his gums he calmed down quickly so they seem to be effective pain relief.
