I got one that had video and audio with a parent device and the ability to be viewed on a phone away from home. This was the cheapest and best quality option for the price. The quality isn't great on the parent device but for an HD view the phone is great and you can take pictures. The only thing I find irritating is that it seems to think it's permanently night time and it's always black and white. I'm just in England. We don't get a lot of sun. Still, it's bright enough without night mode!

Digital video baby monitor. 3.5" colour screen on the mum unit, very clear picture. You can use the mum unit to remote pan, tilt and zoom the camera, change the volume, check the temperature of the room, it has a sounds level indicator, play 5 lullabies and it has a two way microphone so you can talk to your baby. It has a support stand and ariel for further range, ideal is 50m indoors because of walls etc. The camera transmits in colour and has night vision, it also has a highly sensitive microphone, I've heard it pick up noise from downstairs and I can always hear my baby breathing. You can attach the camera to the wall or have it on a unit or dresser, I wouldn't place it too near to the cot as it is plugged in to the electrical socket and you don't want your baby getting hold of the lead. Mine is a metre away from the cot and I can see all of my baby in the cot clearly, there is a zoom function which you can use.

its very ussefull in my house. I can hear and see every beep, one minus that baterry not keep so long how I would like. very good that camera working in night time.

We have a Motorola video monitor and we absolutely love it! We love the fact that we can see our little one wherever we are in the house. It has excellent range as we can even use it while in the garage and outside. One of the best features is that you can pan the camera so if our little one moves around in the cot we can always have a clear view. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can see him and know he's fine! It has a long battery life and comes with a very long charging cord which I like. Overall an excellent buy and superior to some of the other brands I have seen my friends purchase!
