No function to come on when baby makes a noise so on constantly. No tailback function. Quite basic. Screen is quite small but reception has been fine and does the job.

My Motorola monitor has some excellent aspects about it. It has a thermometer, you can use it as a walkie talkie, so they can hear you too. You can start music, or put on a night light from the handheld part. Absolutely fantastic on that aspect, and has good sound (apart from a slight 5-10 second delay, which is a long time if they have a bad cough!). BUT!! The battery is terrible on that handheld part. (The other part is plugged in at the mains). You get no warning that they battery is low. It always shows as full. Then, it beeps to inform you, and has to be charged form approx 9-10 hours! All of this time, as it is plugged in, you can not use it as a handheld, and are fixed to the place near the plug. If, like me, you do not tend to stay in one room, then it is useless during this time. We thought it may have been a dodgy battery, especially as the indicator never goes down to show how much battery life remains, (even though the increments go up and down when it is plugged in on charge). So we contacted Motorola, who send a new battery. But, same problem. Makes this item, for us, useless for 1/4 of the time. Not good...

The first ones I used were the camera ones and these did not work. We were expected to buy a new battery even though they were new ended up buying a different brand that just plug in in each room and these work fine.
