Used this monitor for both our children. We had to purchase a power pack for it as the internal battery stopped holding charge but other than that its been very good. Video quality and sound are very good and being able to talk through it is also useful.

The monitor we use is just a sound monitor. The half that picks up the sound also has a light that can be switched on/off which can be used as a night light. The half that receives the sound has volume controls however we keep it on the highest volume. It does the job, have used it for 2 children, still use it now. Can hear the children very well however its ability to pick up sound gets affected when a fan is in the room, after a while the sound doesnt get picked up.

In the last 22 months I have gone threw 6 baby Motorola monitors. Originally I bought from Argos, and as it only lasted 5 months before the sound card went I got a replacement, unfortunately they had stopped selling my original one that also had WiFi viewing so ended up with a newer model, larger screen but no photo connectivity. Second one (mpb50) stopped charging with 2 months. 3rd replacement was another issue with charging. 4th had a failure and completely was unresponsive. My 5th one we upgraded again for a mbp36xl. This had a sound issue again so I had to return. Now I

This monitor has a good sized screen and the swivel and zoom function is good. However the battery life is not great.

Easy enough to use, works over a good distance, have even used whilst doing some gardening in the evening. Occasionally loses signal but switching off and on again sorts it out. Has a green light on it to shows it's on which is very handy for an anxious Mummy
