"Easy to put away and put up and easy cleaned"
Mothercare's Valencia Wooden Highchair promises fantastic value, with a straightforward design that's easy to use and a wonderful solid wood finish.
The one I have has been through 3 children and is still in great condition. It's a bit of a faff to be honest the straps are annoying to get off- so unlikely to clean them as often. It does have a few different sitting positons, and the tray moves in and out for tummy growth! The seat part is only wipe clean and is held in by screws so a real faff to take out and clean. It folds up which is great too but is still bulky. Wouldn't have been my choice- but it was given to me.

I bought one of the wooden highchairs that converts to a small table and seat for my nephew 8 years ago. It was easy to put together and very sturdy. He and his younger brother have both used the high chair and the 4 year old still does. So when my son was born there was only one high chair I was going to purchase as I know that it is sturdy, will last a long time and can be used as he grows.

Wooden system that converts into chair and table. Robust, but tricky to clean with wooden joints

I have the Mothercare teddy box highchair, it at first seemed very sturdy and pretty solid in the actual chair but the foot rest seemed less solid but will be fine for young children. The chair is very padded and comfy, which I like knowing my son is comfy. It has a post in between the legs so i know there's no way of him slipping out, this can be swapped out for a flat panel later, which is good, along with a 5 point harness, I know he's secure. The chair is very easy to clean, easy to just wipe over. It has 6 height levels and 3 tray positions, the tray can be clicked to the back of the highchair legs when not in use. Unfortunately the chair locks in place sometimes so gets hard to open/close, its great to know theres no chance it will collapse but it gets stuck. Theres also been a couple of cracks in the plastic of the legs, i believe from where it locks, for the money i would have not expected that to happen. The chair also sometimes slips down a height level on one side without being touched, but happens both sides at alternating times. For how much it costs i'd expect there not to be silly issues like that, but it is a good highchair overall

Quite good chair. The cover has split down both sides though. Trying to get a new cover for chair.

Cheap and practical, however the plastic can be flimsy at times. Both catches to secure the tray down snapped off even though it had been well looked after.

It doesn't fold in half completely which I thought it would. Good sturdy chair

I used mothercare for my first baby I lasted very long cannot remember the price . It was good value for money but was not very comfortable though. Cover started to wear off after around a year .

Folds flat which is great for space saving. Tray too small for most of my child's plates . Easy to clean and comes with cushioned seat
