Specialise in breast pumping so the products are effective and well designed. Range of different flange sizes available to help you get a comfortable fit. Valves do need replacing if used a lot but they aren't too expensive.

Very good pump which yielded a high amount of milk. I expressed for 8 months, but after 4 months I developed very sore, chapped, purple nipples, which was in part due to the Medela pump. I tried different flange sizes, but the discomfort did not ease so eventually I replaced my Medela pump with another. My baby was exclusively breastfed and I was exclusively pumping, so was using it 5-8 times a day every day. I think at that intensity, any pump would cause some discomfort, and I'm still glad I had the Medela and would recommend it, but just to mothers who are pumping a little less frequently than I was
