Specialise in breast pumping so the products are effective and well designed. Range of different flange sizes available to help you get a comfortable fit. Valves do need replacing if used a lot but they aren't too expensive.

I was in the hospital for 2 weeks with a premature baby, I was provided with a medela pump to express and it was so effective I hired one of the symphony models for at home despite already owing the swing model. Both were great and meant my daughter got the best start despite never managing to breast feed.

I have the swing pump. Its amazing, gentle and extremely effective. I am lucky that I can pump successfully for my baby. This pump is quite expensive but worth it, as certainly the best on the market. It is quiet and compact. Its easy to operate and easy to clean. I did also try the mini, but this was dreadful, far to noisey and not efficient at all. Spend the extra for the swing pump.

Hired one from the hospital as had never used an electric one before and also too expensive to buy. Produced the results but was too time consuming for me as I had another little one to take care of so switched to formula in the end.
