Specialise in breast pumping so the products are effective and well designed. Range of different flange sizes available to help you get a comfortable fit. Valves do need replacing if used a lot but they aren't too expensive.

I used this pump from the day I got home from hospital as my son couldn't latch on to my breast. It was so straight forward to use and I found the pump easy to use and I was able to get milk out immediately. The pump is easy to clean and if you need help the instruction book in very good. Highly recommended.

I received the Medela Swing Maxi Double Electric Breast Pump as a gift during pregnancy and am extremely happy with it. I regularly expressed when my son was a small baby and it made the process as easy as it could have been. While the Swing is no where near as smooth as the Symphony (which I used in hospital), it is a great and reliable second. It has a fantastic battery life and the settings area ll adjustable. For the price, it really can't be beat. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy, but without spending a lot more money, that would be true of any of the brands. The Medela is also much quieter than other brands that I have seen. Overall, a fantastic product.

I've used both the hand pump and hired the hospital grade Medela symphony. Both are good. Hand pump is useful in a morning to pump off the excess of overnight engorgement - I get about 40-50ml in 5 minutes. Easy to assemble and clean. Medela Symphony was used when I was exclusively pumping for three weeks when my daughter was first born. I liked that it had two settings and that you can alternate between them - I would be able to pump between 20-120ml in one 10/15 minute session (double pumping).

I have been using the medela swing electric pump now for 8 months but more so the last two since I have been back in work. As long as you have the correct fitting shield for your nipple the pump is very effective. I have always used the pump on the maximum 'suck' setting and I have always found it to be very effective in extracting my milk. I can't think of any negative regarding this product.

I used this make of breast pump in hospital and it was very good but I have no idea how much it cost.

Use the manual breast pump. Fit is really nice, it is comfy even after 20-30 minutes of pumping. Really easy to use, put together and clean. Can all be put in steriliser.

The swing electric breast pump is brilliant. It helped me to feed my daughter Brest milk when she refused to breast feed.

I first used a Medela symphony that my local infant feeding coordinators loaned to me from a local hospital, it was excellent and I would advise anybody who needs to pump on a large scale to try and get hold of one or rent from Medela themselves. When I had a good supply established and didn't need to express as much,I went and purchased the Medela swing. It isn't the cheapest on the market but is certainly good value for money, it's comfortable and effective and i wouldn't hesitate to advise it to anybody.
