Specialise in breast pumping so the products are effective and well designed. Range of different flange sizes available to help you get a comfortable fit. Valves do need replacing if used a lot but they aren't too expensive.

Very good and easy to use...it helped me a lot. Only one problem some time it takes milk in to wrong side of pipe rather than bottle side. Its easy to wash but not dry out... Otherwise I would recommend it it's a good purchase.

I used a medela pump when I was in hospital after having my first child. It was one of those all singing all dancing ones. It even had a premie setting as my daughter was a bit premature, which was amazing as it was more gentle than the other settings. It was very quiet and was not uncomfortable to use. It was a very effective pump and was very useful in those first few days when she had to be fed by feeding tube. I wouldn't personally buy the hospital one as they're very big and bulky and very expensive but I would consider buying the medela swing. I'm not sure about the comparison of the swing and the hospital type, which I can't remember what it's called. I didn't know this at the time but you can rent a breast pump from the hospital so I would definitely consider doing this with future babies. In summary, it made my experience with first time pumping very easy in a worrying time for my family.
