"Excellent pump best I tried! Mimics babies sucking really well to get the most milk. A bit pricey but worth every penny."
Medela’s range of breast pumps covers all the potential needs of breastfeeding mums: from initiating breastfeeding for a prematurely born baby with the highest-standard, hospital-grade breast pump Symphony (available to rent), to expressing milk to cover the odd night out with the high-performance manual pump Harmony, to exclusive breast milk pumping with our top individual-use double side pump Freestyle. Specialise in breast pumping so the products are effective and well designed. Range of different flange sizes available to help you get a comfortable fit. Valves do need replacing if used a lot but they aren't too expensive.

Very easy to learn and position for comfort. The double aspect made expressing quicker.

Not as good as made out to be. Produced less milk than manual pump and took longer. Quite loud. Not worth the cost

I used the Medela Swing. Great product, easy to use and clean. I like that there were different strength settings and that you could use with batteries and clip to you to be a bit more portable. Would have preferred if the collection bottle funnel was more angled so it was more comfortable to sit down (otherwise you have to sit up really straight). Would recommend to counteract this using the bags that connect directly to the pump to collect the milk rather than the bottle - plus that makes for easy storage.

Very good good pull for the milk to come out I reccomend the electric one though as the other hand held are too time consuming .

Relatively easy to use but as used in hospital not sure how much I would rate it's value for money. The hand pump from Philips was more than adequate for my needs.

I received the Medela Swing Maxi Double Electric Breast Pump as a gift during pregnancy and am extremely happy with it. I regularly expressed when my son was a small baby and it made the process as easy as it could have been. While the Swing is no where near as smooth as the Symphony (which I used in hospital), it is a great and reliable second. It has a fantastic battery life and the settings area ll adjustable. For the price, it really can't be beat. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy, but without spending a lot more money, that would be true of any of the brands. The Medela is also much quieter than other brands that I have seen. Overall, a fantastic product.

I first used a Medela symphony that my local infant feeding coordinators loaned to me from a local hospital, it was excellent and I would advise anybody who needs to pump on a large scale to try and get hold of one or rent from Medela themselves. When I had a good supply established and didn't need to express as much,I went and purchased the Medela swing. It isn't the cheapest on the market but is certainly good value for money, it's comfortable and effective and i wouldn't hesitate to advise it to anybody.
