"Excellent pump best I tried! Mimics babies sucking really well to get the most milk. A bit pricey but worth every penny."
Medela’s range of breast pumps covers all the potential needs of breastfeeding mums: from initiating breastfeeding for a prematurely born baby with the highest-standard, hospital-grade breast pump Symphony (available to rent), to expressing milk to cover the odd night out with the high-performance manual pump Harmony, to exclusive breast milk pumping with our top individual-use double side pump Freestyle. Price shown for Swing Single Electric.
I used both mini electric, electric and hospital/industrial electric. None of breast pumps were excellent in my mind but it was due my lactation problems (ECS). Mini electric was very noisy and the most I could get was 10ml only. Electric one was good but took long to get a bottle of milk (but i think it was due low milk supply) the best one was in hospital, I was using that for 7 days frequently and thanks to that I could breastfeed after complicated ECS where I lost 3 liters of blood and had no fluid in body to produce milk. I had also manual but used it just twice. It was ok.

The medela swing is effortless for expressing milk and comfortable so you don't get sore using it.

Very expensive but the double swing made pumping so much more efficient especially with a hands free bra
Very good pump, strong and durable! I find this one good value for your money even if you rent it from Medela for a little while.
Very comfortable when you get going, it
For the hospital grade pump, it was great helping me with my supply. It is quite big but it does the job.
Well worth the money, a breast pump that you can rely on! Fast and comfortable to use.
Have an electric pump which is good but bit expensive!!
Have used both the hand pump and double swing pump. Hand pump great for when unable to access plug socket and need a light-weight pump for travelling -only hand pump I could find that has the 2 stage process like the electric pumps. Double swing pump was really efficient and compact. I had a special bra thing so that I could do other things whilst pumping although battery life wasn't great but meant I was hands free to double pump and drink a cup of tea and read a book! As this was also the same as those used in hospitals I was able to get different sized breast cups from the ward as usually only comes with a one size which were too small and causing sore nipples so definitely worth making sure you have the right size cups as very painful otherwise (not aware of any other brands having a variety of sizes!)
Great, hard to clean though. And parts wear too quickly
I used this pump whilst in SCBU with my babies, I would have loved to have brought one but they are out of my budget
