We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

Good price and good fit but there are much better brands which have better safety ratings.

You need both hands to move the handle to carry. with isofix familybase keeps beeping when car turning.

Maxi -cosi was a hand me down so it has lasted the test of time. We only had this from birth to 9 months and it fits on most prams not just a maxi cosi. basic looking but did the job

Very easy to move from car to car and ensure fitted correctly - the easiest seat I have found for this which is a big plus. Does not have a waterproof seat cover so if you have a nappy leak or the child is suddenly sick it seeps through into the car seats.....clearly NOT designed by a parent....

We chose the MaxiCosi as it appeared to be the best in the market. However, we found it to be the most expensive and not very comfortable for our baby. The seat was extremely hard and the cushioning support for a small baby was not adequate.

This is clever marketing. Used it and wasn't impressed. yes it is good sometimes that baby when baby is asleep you don't wake him/her up. BUT the position they are in ?! surely not good for their back! didn't use it more than 4 month.
