We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

I had the pebble car seat included in the travel system I brought with my Quinny pushchair. The car seat was excellent value and we purchased the isofix base at the same time. The only downside is the next car seat up is over £200 so I'll probably get a whole new system as that will be cheaper.

Once my son had grown out of his first car seat my second one was the forward facing, rotating one by Maxi-Cosi. I genuinely can't fault it his car seat, it has it all. Not the cheapest on the market but worth paying that little bit extra for. Aside from the rotating seat which makes it easier to get my ever growing (heavy) son in and out of it without breaking my back, it also adjusts into a lie back position which is great for long journeys when they need a nap.

Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus - excellent sturdy car seat - easy to use - hardwearing - comes with inner linings when baby small and can be removed as baby grows - smart looking product and good value for money even if more expensive than other brands it stands the test of time

I have used the Maxi Cosi pebble from birth as it easily clipped in and out of the car and and onto the buggy. My daughter was very comfy in it. I also found it useful that the handle went round to the back to stop the seat from rocking. Now that she isn't in it anymore, we also have a priori seat for my Husbands car which is FF, and she loves her short trips in it to nursery.

Isofix system is brilliant and the child is really well supported inside the carseat

Axiss is excellent for anyone with back issues as it rotates 90 degrees making it much easier to put child in
