We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

Good price and good fit but there are much better brands which have better safety ratings.

Our car seat feels very safe, supporting our LG rear facing to 4 if we want. She is 17m at the moment and the easy switch means she can front face for quick trips around town and rear face for longer or motorway journeying. We are so pleased with it.

Good, the maxi cosi was one of the few slim line models to fit in my car (for over 1 year old child), and with a non-isofix fitting (for a Nissan Almera 2006). The seat sits fairly high on the back seat which can make it hard work putting your child in, without straining your back.
