We have the maxi-cosi cabriolet infant carrier car seat. We love how snug and cosy this seat is for a new born. The various inserts that can be removed as your baby grows are so helpful, to cater for every stage of growth. We found this was a popular car seat to be able to get adapters or to just fit on a variety of prams which was very useful to have this flexibility for choosing the right pram.

Good price and good fit but there are much better brands which have better safety ratings.

Brilliant car seat, the little compartment at the back is extremely handy, especially to keep a spare nappy and wipes if there was ever to be an emergency. My only issue would have to be not being able to take off the seat fabric to wash.

Great car seats at both of the age ranges used so far. Newborn pebble is brilliant as easily fits on pushchair base and not too heavy to carry, the 360 turning version for the next age stage makes getting a struggling toddler in mid tantrum so much easier!

We had this at stage 1 as it clipped onto our Mothercare Orb (with attachments) from when our son was born. This seat is sturdy and my son slept well in when travelling. We always had it rear facing. It was padded ok, as most others in the shops. It has a little compartment in the back which has the manual in but handy for small items like purse and phone. It has a stretchy fabric cover for shade cover or rain protection, this is hidden in the seam around the top of the seat and I didnt realise it was there until my friend showed me. Fantastic as it easily just loops onto two non intrusive lugs on the handle to put it on and unhooks easily to remove it again, without having to store it anywhere as it sits around the top or can be pushed into the top rim. Easy to fasten in to the car using the regular seat belt which slips around the back and the lap part over the front under the two side slots. Removing the belt from the back slot was always a bit more of an art as it has a slight shape/ridge to stop the belt sliding up and off when in use (good for safety side of things) but meant that to remove it, it took a while to get the hang of sort of pulling the seat belt down, out slightly then up to get it out. This was usually my job as others (my mum and partner that used it less) struggled with it and got frustrated. I would buy this car seat again as its sturdy and I had full faith in it protecting my son.
