Average - just like the Babystart one. I also have a travel cot matteress as they one's provided are quite hard - only a small amount of padding.

I thought this was over priced and I had to buy an aditional mattress as the one provided was very hard

Travel cot is average however mattress isn't the best. Easy to use and transport.
