We bought a joie every stage for my eldest son after his baby car seat. We chose it as it would last until he no longer needed one instead of buying a further stage; it had a good decline compared to others which was important as he still slept in the car a lot; it was very well cushioned whereas others seemed quite hard; as well as all this making it out first choice, it was also great value. We bought again for my second child. The slightly updated model has additional side impact
