"Very reasonably priced in comparison to some brands. Suited my hungry baby well. Always packaged well, easy to make up."
Cow & Gate First Infant Milk is a whey-based formula and can be used for combination feeding or if your baby is not being breastfed. Price shown for First Milk Powder 900g.
all 3 of my babies had this formula from birth, they liked it and have grown into wonderful boys

Cow and gate are competitive with the other leading brands. The one value I did find they had that sets them apart from the rest, is their travel cartons of pressure mixed milk that were in convenient plastic bottles with disposable teats that were very handy to keep in the changing bag or car. I was never caught without when I found these useful packs as you never know when your child may spill, lose their bottle, or just suddenly decide they require more milk that you had prepared when you left the house!

Relatively good value for money. Offers a range of milks to suit lOs needs. The pre-made milk is a great option for ease, now and then, but is quite pricey. I would say that the milk can be very bubbly when made up so have found using a anti colic bottle best to ensure lO doesn't suffer for it.

I breastfed my daughter for about 4 weeks but was struggling to continue due to anaemia and various other complications. I tried my daughter on Aptamil at first and she didn't take to it at all, despite using different bottles. I then tried Cow & Gate original and she loved it, however soon became quite reflux-y after feeds, I switched to the reflux and regurgitation C&G and have not had any other problems since, my daughter's been on it for the last 9 month and we've had no problem whatsoever, she doesn't get ill at all and outs weight on at a very healthy rate. 10/10 would recommend to other people looking for a formula.

As I was unable to breastfeeed, we have used this since my son was 3 days old and my son has never suffered with constipation or poorly tummy, I've never had any problems with the formula not dissolving. I think it's around middle priced with competitor formula but I would pay more for how well my soon took to it

Used Cow & Gate Hungry Baby for my son as the stage 1 never seemed to satisfy him. All round good milk otherwise. I would recommend.

My baby took to this milk straight away. The hungrier baby milk is also an option which we ended up using and it was wonders for my little one sorting her feeding pattern out again Only issue I've ever had was there was about 3 weeks where all shops had a shortage with cow and gate Hungrier baby milk so spend more money on fuel trying to find a tub than anything else. Still to this day don't know why there was such a shortage as cow and gate never put the word out there that there was an issue and how long it would be an issue for.

I've used cow and gate infant milk with both my babies and I've found it to be very good. It didn't cause them to be sick or have too much wind.
